Tinkerbelle celebrating her Noble Ninth Birthday at The Refinery Hotel, NYC!
Happy Birthday to me! I had the most wonderful birthday weekend staycation at The Refinery Hotel in New York City, where I was treated like an absolute queen. It was the perfect place to celebrate my special day. My human and I enjoyed every minute and I can’t wait to go back again someday.
This beautiful hotel has a fascinating history. It was once the Colony Arcade, a hat factory and tea room during the Prohibition Era. It used to be a famous part of luxury fashion history, and now it’s a stylish hotel with soaring ceilings and spacious loft rooms. You can just FEEL the history and glamour in every room - and the atmosphere is like nowhere else.
My birthday celebrations kicked off with cocktails on the swanky outdoor rooftop patio. It has heaters to keep everything warm and cozy and stunning views of the Empire State Building.
The Refinery Hotel isn’t just dog friendly - they LOVE dogs and they treated me like a guest of honor. The large, loft-style rooms can be equipped with pet amenities such as delicious treats and a comfy dog bed on request. After all, there’s nothing like a big plush dog bed to curl up in when your paws are tired from walking all over the city. I also had a beautiful custom cake with my face on it! Talk about a pup feeling special on her birthday! I’m grateful for such a nice stay at The Refinery and couldn’t have chosen a better spot to celebrate my noble 9th trip around the sun. We spent the weekend exploring the sights... and posing for glamour shots in the most beautiful locations, of course!
The hotel is right around the corner from Bryant Park, which is a beautiful place to go for a walk and admire the skyline views. It’s also only 15 minutes away from Jemmy’s Dog Run in Madison Square Park, which is one of the top dog runs in the city.
To top off my momentous 9th birthday, I was gifted with an official State of New York Proclamation in recognition of my achievements and accomplishments. That’s not something every pup can boast! Big thanks to Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright and to the State of New York! I’m truly honored by this and so proud to be a New Yorker!
It’s been a bit of a crazy year, but I’m really grateful that I got to celebrate my birthday in such beautiful surroundings at The Refinery Hotel soaking up the magic of New York City. If you’re looking for a great New York staycation spot - the Refinery is perfect!
