When I think “out east on Long Island” I usually think the hamptons but there is also a special place right past the Hamptons called Montauk. Montauk is known as “THE END” and is also a great road trip destination !

Montauk is a cool beach destination with a chill surfer vibe. What is there to do in Montauk? Well there are are endless amounts of possibilities! First and foremost, you must visit the Montauk Lighthouse. Yes it might sound a little cliché, but it is a historical site and the views of the ocean are incredible!

Next up you should visit the Montauk Brewing Co. before heading to the beach!

There are lots of beaches in Montauk! Some public, some private. I got to spend some time with my human at South Edison Beach (after 6pm), which is right off the center of the main town area of Montauk.

You can’t go to Montauk without experiencing some delicious seafood. For the best pet friendly dining experience my human chose to go to Gosman’s Dock! We got to experience delicious seafood at the clam bar. This is an outdoor eatery with counter service. Everyone is required to wear masks, all tables are six feet a part , they are sanitized and I’m allowed there! Not only does Gosman’s Dock have great eats, but there are also tons of outdoor shops to explore and enjoy and lots of ships you can see!
