#TravelingTink x ST. ERMIN'S HOTEL - LONDON, ENGLAND

Tinkerbelle in London!

Tinkerbelle in London!

I just adore London! It was my first time getting to visit this world-class city and I fell head over paws in love! The fantastic fashions, the excellent museums and galleries, the superb food, the historic buildings - and those fabulous bright red telephone booths! What’s not to love?

On this trip to London, my human and I stayed in the wonderfully chic and stylish St. Ermin’s Hotel. We were welcomed with open arms by the staff and treated to the utmost in British hospitality. St. Ermin’s Hotel is absolutely my style. It is chic, classy and timeless - with plenty of high class sophistication, just like me. When I strolled into the spectacular lobby, with its sparkling chandeliers, dramatic staircase and rich plasterwork, I felt right at home.

This hotel is a great choice for dog lovers - there are 18 dog friendly rooms available on the first floor. Up to two small to medium dogs are allowed in the rooms for a fee of £60 per stay. The hotel will even provide a cozy pet bed and a water bowl in your room on arrival to make you feel welcome!

The hotel is located within a historic building, complete with a beautifully manicured courtyard. There are so many interesting stories of the past within this stunning Victorian hotel - which is thought to be named after an ancient monastery once located on this site. Plus, it’s in an absolutely excellent location. It’s right next to St. James’ Park and it’s only a short walk from Buckingham Palace.

What does a dreamy day in London look like for this traveling pup? Well first of all, you know I always like to start things off right with a good breakfast! St. Ermin’s serves up a traditional English breakfast with everything from bacon to beans to mushrooms - a delicious way to start the day.

Then, it’s off to see the sights! I was drawn to Buckingham Palace of course, a place truly fit for a Queen like me. It was spectacular to see the Queen’s Guard in their elaborate uniforms, standing so still at attention. I even got to visit the magical Platform 9 ¾… but for some reason I didn’t end up being whisked away to Hogwart’s. That’s alright though, my life is magical enough. :)

After a big day of exploring London, I was so happy to return to St. Ermin’s Hotel in the evening and fully relax. This luxury hotel really knows how to pamper their guests and they went above and beyond with little touches that made my human and I feel special.

Oh, and best of all - we got to enjoy the most English ritual of all: Afternoon Tea! In the beautiful historic tearoom we were presented with delicious tea and towering trays of adorable sandwiches, dainty cakes and pastries and freshly baked scones. Oh, and don’t forget the champagne! It was such a delight - I wish I could have high tea every day.

When it came time to go home, I didn’t want to leave! Cheers to London and another great #TRAVELINGTINK travel adventure!

xoxo
