#TRAVELINGTINK x THE FAIRMONT COPLEY PLAZA - BOSTON, MA
The hustle and bustle of NYC can be stressful for a busy pup like me especially during the holiday season. I am always looking for the best destinations for a mini weekend getaway to rest my paws. One of the best options for this is Boston, Massachusetts. In just about 4 hours, via train or car, you are in a completely different city! And the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel is where I would recommend you stay.
When I heard the hotel’s architect was Henry Janeway Hardenbergh (who designed The Plaza Hotel in New York) I knew I would feel right at home. The Fairmont Copley Plaza is located in Boston’s historic Back Bay and is a landmark. It is a perfect fit for a diva like me.
Walking into the lobby I was immediately immersed in pure luxury, surrounded by twinkling chandeliers, marble floors. Since it was the holiday season, there was also breathtaking christmas decor. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the resident Canine Ambassador - Cori Copley. She welcomed me with loving paws and assured me the Fairmont Copley Plaza will be my true home away from home.
Once we checked in, we made our way to our room. I was greeted with a wonderful welcome package of delicious treats from Cori Copley herself!
The elegant room also came with a plush Fairmont Copley Plaza dog bed to rest my fierce fluffy self, 2 dog bowls and unlimited bottled water (I don’t drink tap).
My human was impressed with the room’s historic charm, modern touches, marble bathroom, and comfy king size bed (that I invaded of course!)
As you all know, I always desire extra pampering and my human doesn’t mind it either so we chose a Fairmont Gold room. When you book The Fairmont Gold room, you receive access to an exclusive private lounge with complimentary breakfast, hors d’oeuvres, wifi, and personalized service. This was right up my alley!
The hotel was so relaxing, it was hard to draw my human outside but eventually I got my way. Luckily, Fairmont Copley Plaza has a great convenient central location. We were only a short walk from shopping on Newbury street, Boston Common, historic beacon hill and the freedom trail.
The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel will definitely hold a special place in my diva heart. I will most definitely return, in fact I can’t envision staying anywhere else!
XOXO,
