#TravelingTink - Floridays Resort Orlando, Florida

harry potter world, mickey mouse & seaworld!!! orlando is a huge family vacation destination, but what if you Want to travel there with your fur-riend??? well, we have the perfect resort to do just that!

The resort we are talking about is floridays resort orlando. this pet friendly resort is really one of a kind. the smallest room you can book is a two bedroom. so instead of booking two small hotel rooms right next to one another with that frustrating conjoining room door, you instead get the feeling you are in your own private apartment. every room has a fully stocked kitchen and a washer/dryer (to take care of that laundry that starts to pile up before you pack to go home). 

When we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and the check-in process was a breeze. walking to our building was not that long of a walk, but if you aren't up to walking to your room, you could go with your bags via golf-cart. on our walk we past the large main pool that had fun top 40 music playing, a pool side bar, and an additional kiddie water play area.

Our room was a pet-friendly two bedroom suite overlooking the beautiful lake and the quiet pool (yes, there were two pools!) they supplied tinkerbelle with an official floridays resort orlando water bowl and floridays resort orlando doggie bags for when she goes #2. the room was spotless, and did not have a "pet room odor". i think tinkerbelle also just loved the fact that it felt like home and not your typical hotel room.   

on the days we hung by the pool, tinkerbelle enjoyed lounging on the pool lounge chairs as well.

the resort also has many planned activities for kids, teens and families publicized throughout the resort. when we were there a "tinkerbelle meet & greet" was actually one of the activities on their calendar, and it was a hit with the guests! 

Also, if you and your family decide to go to the parks via their complimentary shuttle, you will have many options on what to do with your pet. you can either drop your pet off at a day care in the orlando area or leave your dog in the room with a do not disturb sign on the door (so the maid doesn't enter). 

Floridays resort orlando is not just a pet-friendly resort, but one that truly understands that pets are members of the family.
